Der Katalog zur Ausstellung erscheint im Lucia Verlag.

SUSI POP übernimmt als “Persona” die Autorenschaft für eine Gruppe von jungen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, die sich im vergangenen Semester mit der Methodik des Labels SUSI POP auseinander gesetzt hat.

Gleichzeitig ermächtigten sich die Studierenden des Labels SUSI POP und interpretierten und variierten es nach ihren Vorstellungen. Bilder und Medienbilder wurden reproduziert, entfremdet und in neue Bedeutungszusammenhänge gesetzt. Die Ausstellung zeigt die Ergebnisse dieses Prozesses. Kooperationspartner des Projekts ist die Universitätsgalerie Marke.6 der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Initiiert wurde das Projekt von Andreas Lenz.
